The new version restores functionality. A great extension to the Hue system on OS X!

It does what its supposed to do and does it well. I actually prefer using this over Philips own iOS app.

Works! And very nice to control the lights from my desktop rather than my iPhone. Crashes occasionally, but for a free app I cant complain.

It works and stays out of the way while remaining just a quick click away. Exactly what I was looking for! Beautiful icon too.

Great app with nice controls. Auto discovery of the bridge was a snap. Setup groups for each room, and very handy controlling the groups from my Mac.n Would love to see some preset abilities in future versions. Well done!

This has even less features than the iOS app. I downloaded it hoping that they would have at least put in repeatable timers (something you want to run off a computer over an iOS device). No luck, however, not even the weak one shot timers that are present in the iOS app. On the plus side the grouping feature is easy to use and presents very nicely (see the second screen shot they have).

App just works. You can group your lights together and control the color and brightness right on the menu bar of your mac!

It does what it says it does - would be nice if it did more. Like saved themes or timers, or… The Hue can do a lot with the right software but this is only basic control and if that is what you want then it works really well. If you are looking for more features this isnt it (yet?)

I realy like this app its simple, easy to set up and it works.Its the app that should come with the starter kit!!!!

Worked correctly the first evening I installed it. Next day, I didnt change anything, but this app since then stays greyed out, is unable to connect to hue bridge because it doesnt even scan the network. I tried uninstall and re-install and tried to reset my hue bridge etc… without success. Every other systems I have in my home who works with my Hue lamps are connecting to it perfectly each time. No problem at all. Its just this crappy app….

It says disconnected, but the connect button reads "Disconnect" and does nothing, scanning by IP does nothing either.

It worked for a day then was completely unresponsive.

Cant get it go connect to bridge. Tried everything I could think of. No Dice. Delete.

BROKEN as of las update, before this last update it was amazing! now it cant find my bridge wish I had a backup of the app in its previous state, FIX please

after the dec 11 update it doesn’t work anymore, it can’t find my bridge, and I’ve ried everything including reseting the bridge. update: e-mailed support was given a beta version that fixed my issue. thanks.

So happy that I can pair with my bridge again. Yay!

App gets disconnected quite often and reconnect option does not work :( I would pay 5 bucks at least if it was more reliable.

Ha funzionato per qualche giorno ed ora non si connette più al bridge. La pagina di supporto dello svilupatore è inesistente. It has been working for a few days and now it doesn’t connect to the bridge anymore. The developer support page doesn’t work either.

The app is simple and working, with a nice, fast interface. Unfortunately other apps who claim to have more features can’t find my Hue lights/ Bridge. I just need to make the lights change colours, would love it if you could add this feature!
