Colors for Hue App Reviews

since the update the app is not connecting with my hue anymore. The iPad still works (different app). Tried to quit the app, shut off hue/station… nothing worked so far. Quite dissapointing. The app did work well before the update though. Also tried it with an other Macbook, same error.

Works like a charm with my Hue Bridge 2 and White Ambiance lamps. Side Note: It would be nice if the the lamps would change the brightness while moving the slider.

The new implemented dark mode is working and looking well, but since the last update the program refuses to find and/or connect to my bridge. Therefore this version is useless. Looking forward for a fast fix of this problem. I tried to delete and reinstall the program, but that won’t help. (I’m running 10.12.3 Beta 16D17a) Although my system is on a beta version, this app worked on the beta before its update, so I assume the problem is not with the beta of my system.

Nice app, with a simple interface but plenty of functionality.

An execellent little app. Setup take 30 seconds, and the interface is minimal but effective. Dont expect this to replace the iOS app as this is a 3rd party dev making a simple app to control the lights, not a setup app. Its very generous of the dev to give it away for free.

Considering the lowest price app will run you $4 for the same App. A dollar or more to this developer is worth while. The app works as advertised. Very simple.

Works great! Just a suggestion, maybe an update the icon or allow the option to choose a different icons.

You have to restart the app if you change anything from HomeKit or say a mobile app. It doesn’t know that things have changed when you reopen the dropdown menu, leading to a lot of confusion. But otherwise it’s a really great app!

The UI is simple and easy to understand, and it provides an easy way to control your Hue lights from the menu bar of your computer. It doesn’t have a lot of bells & whistles and could do more, but it is easily be worth a few bucks as-is. Given that it is free, it is definitely worth 5 stars! Thanks!!

Have a group of 8 lights in my office. When I try and change the color, the lights cycle through a few colors and the bulbs become mismatched. Some end up red, some blue, some green. This app might be good for 3-4 lights, but more than that and it just doesn’t work.

I downloaded this application to work the Hues that are in my room, and they work perfectly with this!

Merci pour cette app gratuite, elle est juste TOP ! Merci Nichos, merci Ambiance Labs ! :-) It might be nice to update the lights status as soon as the main menu is opened (to be synced with other possible remote access such as iPhone)

Does what it says, works like a charm. However: I would like to see a floating panel similar to the iPhone / iPad application and the ability to save scenes. Thatll be the fith star. :)

An update nobody needs.

Since the new Upgrade, the Bridge cannot be found anymore. Currently The App is useless!

But I’m still waiting for compatibility for Dark Menu Bar Mode. (Icon in menu bar can hardly be seen)
